Contrary to some claims, all houseboats moor beside the lake, not in the middle. The following morning, embark on another hour of cruising, typically from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM or 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, before checkout at 9:00 AM.

For multi-day adventures, the schedule unfolds as follows:

Day 1: Start time at 12:00 Noon, with a one-hour lunch break from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and a night halt at 5:30 PM.
Day 2: Begin between 10:00 AM, with checkout at 5:00 PM if not continuing for a third day, and another night halt at 5:30 PM.

We advise against this particular stay option. Check-in typically occurs after 5:30 PM, with check-out the following morning at 9:00 AM. Unfortunately, this arrangement doesn’t allow guests to fully experience the allure of Alleppey’s backwaters, which is the primary attraction. With only one and a half to two hours of cruising time, the essence of the backwaters remains largely unexplored. While some opt to extend their stay into the evening, it tends to be more costly compared to an overnight stay. For a more immersive experience of Alleppey’s breathtaking backwaters, we recommend considering alternative accommodation options.
